DETROIT AUTO SHOW: Obama To Send Three Cabinet Members To Meet With Automakers
Three members of President Barack Obama's Cabinet will attend the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, acting Commerce Secretary Rebecca Blank and Environmental Protection Agency chief Lisa Jackson are all planning to tour the show floor, meeting with automakers and seeing the new models.

LaHood will make remarks during the show's opening — his third straight year in the role.

Blank is a former dean of the University of Michigan Gerald Ford School of Public Policy. Jackson has announced her plans to not serve in a second Obama administration.
