DETROIT AUTO SHOW: Does The Interior Of The New Q50 Live Up To Your Expectations?
We just got through asking you to size up the exterior of the all new Infiniti Q50, but that is only half of the equation. You can make a car that looks picture perfect on the outside and lose the buyer with hodgepodge interior.
Audi has proven to the industry that a well thought out interior can seduce many a buyer in your direction. It all has to do with fit, finish and just how well everything flows together as a cohesive package. After all you are inside the vehicle for a longer time than looking at it from the outside.
So did Infiniti hit the mark with the Q50 on the inside as well?

I think it look really good and we all know how hard it's to try to improve a car that already perfectly design. If this car has a German or Italian logo on it everyone will be saying how great this car is etc. Infiniti will sales ton this for sure but I still hate the new stupid name Q50 instead of G37.

Your question should really be put to those coming out the NAIAS, Otherwise I'll talk out my @$$ and say I really like the outside of the car, but luke warm about the Sport front the hybrid front looks better. the tablet like center station reminds me of the Telsa S. the Q50 looks better, but i would probably enjoy use the tesla s interface better. the monochrome black interior looks better to me also.

Hate the double hump cockpit. They did that crap in the Nissan Maxima and Altima. People complained. This year's new Altima finally went back to the a nice curved single cockpit instead of the double hump. The new Maxima coming out next year will be going back to the single curved gauages area too; not the double humper stuff.I've owned 2 G37s and 2 Nissan Maximas. The outside is not bad at all on this car; inside could had really attracted more buyers by making it more upscale. That's one reason I went over and bought a new Audi S6. I didn't want all the plastic; just fine craftsmanship with the quality materials surrounding me.
That looks awful. Make a nice cockpit that is ergonomically beautiful.

Good enough, but nothing outstanding that's class leading.

This looks great in my opinion. Interested how the steer-by-wire will handle. I see you can change the mode of effort for the steering wheel. Very cool

Boring, and the materials look low cost and very indicative of Infinity when compared to leaders in the segment.

Lexus RX interior is my first thought. Nice design inside and out though.

Looks like they took too many ideas from previous designs.
