BMW To Use Toyota Technology In Upcoming Fuel Cell Vehicles
Toyota Motor Corporation is nearing an agreement to license its fuel-cell technology to BMW AG, the Nikkei business daily reported.

The agreement is expected to be made official as early as Thursday, with Toyota to provide BMW with drivetrain and hydrogen storage technology, according to a report from Nikkei cited by Reuters. BMW will use the technology to build a prototype vehicle in 2015, with a market launch scheduled for 2020.

For those that would dare make fun of this venture would only prove you dont know as much as you thought you did. This is no put down whatsoever to BMW. These 2 Automakers are very serious forward thinkers and have a great understanding and respect for each other with their perspective gifts. Who in their right minds would not want to have the priviledge to work with Toyota in some joint venture of some kind. Stick around haters, hopefully one day you too will see the light! I did over 16yrs ago and aint looking back. There's somethin special about owning a Toyota or a BMW or _______ etc. See, that was'nt so bad was it?

Failure rate in Toyota engines is very low and yes BMW could have a bug benefit of that association...
