YOU Decide: The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Color Palette Is OUT — How Would YOU Option It?

YOU Decide: The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Color Palette Is OUT — How Would YOU Option It?
While the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette certainly was welcomed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, I wouldn't exaclty say it stole the show. It definitely was an incredible debut that was the talk of the town but, then again, if it wasn't hyped up or talked about in Motown, that'd be a pretty bad sign.

All in all, it's a very impressive vehicle, especially when considering where the C5 and C6 production vehicles were like. It's a much-needed step in the right direction.

But what about the colors and options?

While Chevrolet has only gotten as far to us as the standard Vette, it already is quite a capable car — at least on paper. If you want the extra carbon fiber you can tick the option box for the Z51 performance package and you can add the competition sport seats.

When it comes to the colors of the new Corvette, we've put together a gallery that gives you the various colors of the Vette rainbow. It looks like a bag of skittles, essentially. Minus the orange. No one likes the orange skittles anyway.

What we do have is the following:

- Black Sterling
- Laguna Blue
- Crystal Red
- Torch Red
- Cyber Gray
- Lime Rock Green
- Night Race Blue
- Blade Silver
- Arctic White
- Velocity Yellow

In addition, you have a selection of wheels to go through, featuring silver-painted wheels, chrome-plated wheels and black-painted wheels.

All of this said, from what you can see how would YOU specify your 2014 Corvette? What COLOR? What WHEELS? And, of course, which SEATS?

with the ugly plastic looking black diffuser in the rear, not many colors will look as nice, so i would have to go with arctic white...

Make mine Night Racing Blue with black wheels.

Though I have to agree with you, @iamdabest1, white would be another good color choice.

Just fooling around on photoshop, color matching the lower rear panel and matching that teardrop tail light plastic makes a big difference.

Hopefully they would offer a color matched rear diffuser. If not, that will be the first modification people start making.

As for the excess, I love the excess. Wish they could put more on it just for 1CarSmart1. Can see him driving one now with a smile on his face.

Red makes it look like a Ferrari. Black hides the ugly rear. Guess ill go with the black.
