Can Subaru Outclass The Market Leading Prius With Their First Attempt At A Hybrid?
Believe it or not, Subaru doesn't currently offer a hybrid model but that's soon about to change.

You'd think that in the automotive industry today, an automaker that doesn't offer a hybrid in its lineup wouldn't be doing too well. That's not at all the case when it comes to Subaru. In fact, the small Japanese automaker is currently experiencing all-time sales records in the US thanks to solid redesigns of its Impreza, Legacy and Outback. Yes, the new 2012 Audi grille does look like Subaru's 2010 concept.

I hope they deliver what should be the obvious solution...electric motors at the back mixed with a conventional FWD in the front. Free AWD and lots of cool torque vectoring options.

I would not rush to believe that this will be Subaru's Hybrid. A lot of people seem to think this concept car will be the basis for the next generation WRX & WRX STi.

Is it a bad thing that I thought this was an article on an Audi? Seems like everybody is copying the Audi front end now.
