New Vette appears to be a real game changer in looks and performance...looking forward to head to head tests to see if so. Looks like a STUD!

Looks great, but let me hazard a guess based on past experience. The Chevy dealers who sell the vettes are gonna act all Ferrari-like. Example, years ago I tried to test drive a Z06 when they first came out and was told that first you must put down a $5000 deposit, then you get the test drive, then we'll refund your deposit if you don't finish the order. What do you think the "market adjustment pricing" on the new vette will be?

BTW, had the same experience last month at a Tesla dealer.

Corvette needs it own dealer network to make the "step up" to the status the car deserves.

Far different market forces influence the pricing of a the new vette vs a 458 italia or f12 berlinetta. They only make a couple thousand copys of those Ferraris and they are the most revered rides in the galaxy. Super high global demand from rich dudes creates the crazy 65K average premium. For the mass produced vette, demand will fall off quickly, within months, dropping the price to sticker, especially in the dead of winter. BTW, californias and ff's are usually sold at list for obvious reasons.
