Chrysler To Focus On Building Fiat Brand In US
Chrysler Group will bolster its Fiat brand and drop plans to add Fiat-derived small cars for its Chrysler and Dodge brands this year, according to a new long-range product plan revealed today.

The new plan updates Chrysler's five-year North American product outlook that it presented in November 2009. The update extends the look into the 2016 calendar year.

The revised strategy contains changes for each brand Chrysler sells in North America. It shows the addition of seven new unannounced vehicles for the Fiat brand in 2015 and 2016, as well as a single Alfa Romeo, believed to be the 4C sports coupe, arriving this year. There are five additional unidentified new Alfa's planned to arrive in 2015 and 2016, the plan indicates.

Chrysler is a subsidiary of Fiat, but Fiat's US operations are handled by Chrysler (I think). I see your point though.

FIAT needs PRODUCT!...You can't build a brand on one car (the 500)alone.
.."it's going to be reintroduced in a selective way,The Fiat brand will branch out into other segments, but will not have broad representation in the marketplace,Marchionne said".
Hurry the hell up,Sergio...some of your FIAT dealers are "spittin'cotton" as we say down here.

Well-I tend to believe in Fiat adding more models to the mix. The reson for this simply is that Fiat has established a beachhold here in the US with the 500,Turbo, and Abarth.
As for Alfa-Well that appears to be a continuing evolving story that seems to change wek by week. Therefore it is hard to believe or fatham
a huge commitment from Marchionne on Alfa. He is also said he has no decent engines for the brand. So he has therefore supposedly enlisted the services of Ferrari to develope engines for Alfa. Developing a decent engine might take a couple of years. Alfa needs product "right now". Not in 2 yrs.I'd have to wait and see on that one.
