BMW Recalls 1 Series ActiveE For
BMW is recalling vehicles in its test fleet of 1 Series all-electric cars designed to “help define the future of mobility” because of a possible immobility problem, the automaker has informed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The 1 Series ActiveE models were part of what BMW described as a field test program in which it leased the vehicles to consumers in markets on the East Coast and in California.
