AD FAIL? GM Passed On Including 2014 Corvette In Super Bowl Halftime Show
General Motors Co. confirmed Monday that it was approached by organizers of the Super Bowl halftime show to feature its all-new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, but the idea was scrapped, according to an official from the automaker.

"We worked with all the parties involved on a variety of possibilities, including one scenario that would have included the new Corvette Stingray as part of the show," Pat Morrissey, GM's director of product and brand communications, said in a statement. "In the end, it did not work out, but we were honored to be asked to be involved and pleased the Corvette was the vehicle of choice."

A company such as GM which is partially owned by both the United States federal government (19%) and the Canadian government (9%), which has cost and LOST taxpayers billions of dollars (US Government bought GM at $70 per share, sold at $27), and which stiffed thousands of creditors in bankruptcy...
