Toyota will export US-built Venza in Ukraine and Russia

Toyota will start to export U.S.-built Venza vehicles to Russia and Ukraine in 2013. Toyota already holds the title of being the all-time top exporter. In 2012, its exports had a 45% increase over the previous year with over 124,000 U.S.-assembled vehicles shipped to 21 global markets.

Is the RX so important that Lexus won't get its own version of the Venza in the luxury lineup?

Toyota needs a full-size CUV. If the next-gen Escalade is built on an updated Lambda platform, Toyota will need to compete.
