GENEVA MOTOR SHOW: Lamborghini's $4.7 MILLION SUPERcar EXPOSED Before The Show Even Starts
Before tonight, I would wager that for a vast majority of our readership the word "Veneno" meant absolutely nothing. Now though it will mean many different things to many different people across the globe. That's because it's the namesake of Lamborghini's latest project that may just overshadow the Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1 and Ferrari's all-new flagship.

Though information is limited at this time, it appears this new hypercar is based on the existing Aventador chassis — check out the vehicle's windows, center stack, steering rack and HVAC vents.

If folks thought Lamborghini was bold with the Reventon, they haven't seen anything yet.

This vehicle is said to be one of three and cost a staggering $4.7 million dollars. Power has increased over the standard Aventador to a rumored 740 horsepower.

No official information has been released just yet. Stay tuned for the latest developments.

So what actually comes with the $4.7 million (3.6 million euros or 3.1 million pounds) Lamborghini Veneno? Well according to the text the car features a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and carbon-fiber exterior elements like a massive rear wing and various scoops and vents. Lamborghini went ahead and upgraded the Aventador’s 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 to produce 740 horsepower and put it in the Lamborghini Veneno. The engine is matted to a seven-speed ISR robotized manual gearbox. Top speed is claimed to be 220 mph and a 0-60 is projected to be around 2.9 seconds.

When will it ever end...overpowered cars bought by guys with more money than driving skill with nowhere to drive it putting them in garages not to be seen for years too afraid to drive them because of the cost. Cars are meant to be driven on public roads...drive them or don't buy them !
