GENEVA MOTOR SHOW: Audi Debuts Its RS 6 Avant In A STUNNING Combo
While a lot of critics suggest that Audi is a bland brand with a staid exterior design team, I think you'll say otherwise after seeing what it brought to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Audi debuted the RS 6 Avant and I have to say that it was in a to-do-for color combination.

In a VERY classy and menacing move, Audi showed off the RS 6 Avant in a metallic charcoal gray — is that Dolphin Gray(?) — and a peanut butter/caramel interior set off with carbon fiber accents. Paired up with the exclusive RS' hexagonal stitching, I can't find ONE reason to dislike this vehicle's interior.

This just may be one of the baddest wagons on the planet.

Well played, Audi. Well played!

New e63amg will smoke this.

BTW not surprised to see pages featuring all the new VW products (Lamborghini, Audi, Bentley). How about some pages for the cars the people really want to see/ care about. Like the new mclaren, Ferrari, rolls Royce wrath, e63amg, m6gc, corvette, 911gt3, sls black series.

YES...... IT....... WILL. E63 AMG S with 4matic is "estimated" at 3.5 seconds. The Mercedes has a larger displacement, more power/torque. Plus the current E63 weighs 4040lb...lightest in class. The new AWd system adds 150lb, bringing the total weight around 4200lb which is the same weight if not lighter than the RS6. Lol "exotic" is a streach, but nothing wrong with those cars if thats your thing. I would for one would like to see something other than VW's.

Christ.

Lol, not sure how you get only a tenth when Mercedes factory claim is 4 tenths faster....Genius. Smoke or not at least we both agree the E63 is will be the faster car. Also RS6 cheaper? Not so fast, first off its doesn't matter what it cost since its not coming to the US!! The Mercedes is though(WIN). And in the UK the RS6 starts at 77K pounds or $125k US dollars, more than the M5 (73K pounds in the UK), and E63 (also 73K pounds). So lets recap RS6 is slower and more expensive. And yes all of those cars are VW's... that's who owns them right?

When is the last time a car went slower than its factory claim? Most likely it will actually be faster than the factory claim. The factory claim is generally a guaranteed minimum time the car can achieve. Bottom line Mercedes E63 guaranteed minimum time is almost a half second faster than the RS6. Err, and it has more power/torque, and weights the same. E63>RS6.

Oh ok, 75k which..... Yeah is still cheaper than 77k.

I would say your the dumb one, and need to work on reading comprehension. Notice above where I say e63amg s 4 matic as in the newly realeased one with 585hp and 590 lb ft of torque putting the power down through Mercedes 4 matic AWD system? Scroll your mousy up a little.. You'll see it. That is the car that will rape the rs6, and has the 3.5 sec 60 time I have referenced the ENTIRE time.

The article you are referring to is the old pre refresh e63 with only 518hp and RWD! I don't care about the m5. I'm talking new e63 laying the smack down on the rs6. Try and keep up.

Christ.

wow, both of you arguing over a tenth of a second difference in "estimated" 0-60 times is so juvenile. with cars displacing as many liters and generating as much horsepower as these cars do, evaluating their performance by 0-60 times alone is somewhat irrelevant, short-sided, and frankly a bit insulting considering their intended purpose.

people who buy these vehicles could give a flying f*** about which of these cars has a faster 0-60 time when choosing between the two. It's all about how it makes them feel when they sit behind the wheel.
