Lamborghini on Track to Achieving Its Best Year Ever

Lamborghini on Track to Achieving Its Best Year Ever
Sales increased during the first six months from 655 to 952 vehicles, 45% more than in the same period last year. This increase is due to a number of factors, including the market introduction of the new Gallardo Spyder, the strengthening of the dealer network and increased international clientele.

"Lamborghini is on the right track," stated Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of

Automobili Lamborghini. "The investments the company has made, its market presence, and the commitment of its partners are the keys to this success. We are sure we will reach another sales record at the end of 2006, again strengthening our worldwide brand awareness".

Since Spring 2006 another model has been added to the Lamborghini range: the convertible Gallardo Spyder, which has proved a huge success in terms of sales and with full order books for the next 12 months.

The same level of success has been achieved by the new MurciƩlago LP640 presented in Geneva this year. The waiting time for this vehicle currently stands at 12 months. Automobili Lamborghini has the potential to achieve sales records in all major continental markets.

A substantial increase of 68% has been achieved in the USA where the House of the Raging Bull sold 422 super cars, as opposed to 251 units during the same period last year.

In Europe deliveries increased by 29.3% to 335 vehicles (259 in 2005). In the major markets, deliveries have also increased: Great Britain (+ 41.4%), Italy (+ 32.6%), Germany (+ 10.3%).

It must have been the I-Drive, it has raised Lambo sales all by itself.

i can see the headline "bmw's latest technical innovation has caused sales of lambos to soar, prompting bmw fans to claim bmw are responsible for every major munfacturer's success, and thus are obviously the best cars in the world. audi, parent company of lambo, has been dismissed as an upstart with inferior products, even though audi technology is used in the lambo. fans claim bmw will beat these rebadged volkswagens with ease and with the styling of a clumsy blind man with a scalpel and some clay"

VW needs to replace the company VW with Auto Uniln and have the VW, skoda, Seat side and the Lambo, (maybe porsche will join in), Audi, Bently side

Remember about 6 years ago when BMW almost got bought out and were fighting rumors that VW was going to buy them? This all happened with the RR-Bently fight.

All they need is 1 or 2 bad years then POW! they will be rebaged GMs or Toyotas
