Fisker CEO Resigns Over Business Strategy

Henrik Fisker, founder and executive chairman of struggling plug-in hybrid vehicle maker Fisker Automotive, has resigned.

In an e-mail today to Automotive News, Fisker wrote: "The main reasons for his resignation are several major disagreements that Henrik Fisker has with the Fisker Automotive executive management on the business strategy."

Fisker confirmed his resignation in a phone interview and declined to comment further.

Fisker knows the business model is failing and wants to get out before the collapse.

never was a fan of the company. fisker's designs were more about looks than substance.

when i went to the dealership to test drive the Karma, while it was parked, i thought its the hottest 4 door ever.. nicer than a maserati quattroporte, and even the aston martin rapide..

once i drove it, i was truly disappointed that the car was total trash. if the karma was around 70-80k and was just a regular car with a 400hp gas guzzling v8 competing with a Mercedes E550 OR BMW 550 this company would have done much better.
no one wants an unreliable 100k car.
