Want utility, performance and economy? A diesel wagon could be just the thing for you, and BMW is set to launch its take on the theme later this year.

A 2.0-liter turbodiesel has already been confirmed for the BMW 3-Series sedan, but it looks like the same engine will also be available in the wagon, badged 328d.
