Technical Specs For The Alfa Romeo 4C Leaked - Was It What You Were Hoping For?
A brochure revealing Alfa Romeo 4C’s technical specs has recently made its way onto the web and it’s showing some interesting things on the company’s new sports car.
After it was officially presented to the public in its final production form just last week, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere, the brand new Alfa Romeo 4C is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time by a brochure, which is showing us some interesting things on the model. The Alfa Romeo 4C has a dry weight of just 895 kg and its carbon fiber chassis weighs just 52 kg.

Technically yes ! Heard price now in Cayman territory to lower 911 territory which if so spells trouble unless your a true Alfista.

2,000 lbs?! Sounds too good to be true. Cayman R drivers will look pretty silly opening their doors with the red strap door pulls...and an extra 700 lbs.

If this car is in production weight in around 2,000 lbs. it will freaking fast and the handling should be great as well. But I agree with t_bone to good to be true. And I think it's to expensive for the price it's asking.

I wonder what the curb weight is going to be. Dry is not the same as curb..

If the weight is accurate, then although the price is reasonable for the expected performance levels this weight would bring, the market for such a dedicated purist sports car will be very limited. The Cayman will be much more practical while still offering strong performance.

I would get a Nissan 370Z in over this and the Porsche Cayman/S. The 370Z already beat the Cayman S in a comparison both in 0-60. 1/4 mile and handling around the track and cost about 50% less as well.

Well, I will only speak for myself. But, if the only option is an automatic transmission, then this old alpha driver will definitely pass this by.
