From what has been happening regarding range and other battery problems (now confirmed by multiple reviews and exonerating the NYT to some extent), I would say it is a very good thing the Model X is being delayed. Some are calling the Model S the most expensive beta test, which doesn't bode well for people who prefer their cars to drive and behave like appliances (requiring minimal thought to care and maintenance).

Let's not forget the battery to brick problem either, which has happened on several occasions, even while the car is plugged in. Guess you won't be leaving your Tesla in long-term parking at the airport.
