high-end consumers LOVE the ability to have unique vehicles and customize to their hearts content. the higher the price the more extreme the customization. why do you think rolls-royce offers 150 exterior colors, 18 wood veneers and 20 different leathers? and why does porsche have options lists so long that you can DOUBLE the price of the car with customization? and offers a dozen versions of the 911 and 9 versions of the panamera?
