SPIED + VIDEO: Porsche's REFRESHED Panamera Gets Caught On Camera

It's not everyday that you run into a manufacturer car undergoing testing. Well, not unless you're a spy ;).

It's certainly not an everyday occurrence that you can get an engineer or test driver to "play" with you at speed with one of these cars; however, a couple of lads in a 2013 Audi S6 came across the refreshed Panamera and that's exactly what transpired.

While the clip is on the darker side, you will note that there are slight mods to the front LED lights and rear LED taillights. It appears that Porsche is going to be carrying over the "outline" look as seen on the all-new Boxster and Cayman.

We caught a Porsche Panamera Facelift with Minimal Camouflage and made a "little" race against it. I hope you enjoy it.

I wonder how much power, torque and other improvements Porsche will give the facelifted fugly Panamera (10 models are sold in North America).

Of those 10 Panamera models, only the Turbo and Turbo S are currently faster than the Audi S6. The S6 can easily outrun the other 8 Panamera models (Panamera GTS, 4S, S, S Hybrid, 4 Platinum Edition, 4, Panamera Platinum, base Panamera). Even the Panamera GTS -- the best all-rounder Panamera -- was independently clocked by Car and Driver at 4 seconds for 0 to 60 mph, while the Audi S7 does the same sprint in 3.7 seconds (that’s faster than the BMW M5, as I showed in an earlier blog “You make The Call! Should 001's Friend Buy A BMW M5 Or An Audi S7?” The GTS needs 25 seconds at an average 0.80g on Motor Trend’s figure eight course (the S7 was faster at 24.8 sec at an average of 0.81 g – the lighter S6 should be slightly faster) – so much for the twisties.
