1990's SHOOTOUT - Remember When Japanese Cars Were Fun?
Georgia's Roebling Road raceway has seen some of the best shootouts in MotorWeek's history, although few have been as enlightening as a Nissan 300ZX facing off against an RX7 and a Toyota MR2 for some reason. Turbo power!

Hell yeah I do! You picked the wrong comparo my friend. The best Japanese sports car comparo was the: 320hp versions of the 3000GT VR-4 and Supra Turbo, dual-rotar RX-7, and the venerable 300Z Turbo.

I forgot which of the "magazines" did it, but I think they paid Danny Sullivan or Arie L. to be a guest judge.

...I'm afraid not, some of those early 90's Turbo MR2 ran 0-60 high 5's low 6's stock buddy. However, you are right about the 3000GTVR-4 and Supra Turbo which was running about 0-60 in a quick 4.6
