STUD OR DUD? Production BMW 4 Series Coupe F32 EXPOSED For The First Time!

STUD OR DUD? Production BMW 4 Series Coupe F32 EXPOSED For The First Time!
We bring you the first ever pictures of the F32 4 series coupe in production sheet metal. These pictures were snapped while BMW had the soon to be released 4 series out camo free to do a night time photo shoot. Thankfully we had a quick camera man who got these pictures before BMW chase them away.

Much of the exciting front end of the 4 series concept coupe has been retained with wide flared openings on the left and right side and a narrow center inlet for the radiator. Gone are the 6 series styled LED fog lights strips and the double lip intakes. The F32 gets more traditional round fog likes as seen on the F30 3 series sedan and a simplified but still aggressive and elegantly sculpted front air dam.

A Special thanks to our good friends over at Bimmerfest for the heads up.. be sure to check out their post for additional images.

It may just be the picture, but the rear wheels look too small for the body or conversely the body has too much real estate between rear wheel and the greenhouse. I think Porsche did a better job with the 991 "wrapping the body around the wheels".

Looks good, but a bit underwhelming after the concept.

Profile looks really good, overall a stud. Would like to see some better pics though.

STUD. Can't wait to see the M-sport and most importantly M4.

BMW never fails to deliver a significantly watered-down concept car as its production model.

Yeah yeah nut, we know you like Audi. To bad audis whole lineup is watered down.

At least BMW delivers on concepts, Audi teases but never shows up.

This looks really nice. Being a MB #1 and BMW #2 (and the rest being long distances away from these two), I still prefer an E-coupe to this but then that's just my old-man taste. Personally, I like this more than the Audis.

Stud, looks much sportier than I thought it would.

Dud: Too big and plain looking

Looks to be about the size of an old 850.

Either way, BMW is definitely going to war with Audi's A5. Before, I would say that the A5 was a cheap 6-Series competitor because of its "girth".

Stud! Hot. The M4 and 2 series coupe will also bring a lot of heat.

Dud. Nothing new at all just like all other German cars. They're all the same but different sizes. So, why couldn't this just be the new 3 series? So, basically they stretched it a bit and raised the price.

who's raising the bar in design from your perspective? specific models?

And you call yourself a designer!(Designer1) The new 4 series is absolutely gorgeous and if you took the time to compare it to the outgoing model you would agree that the design is evolutionary in every single detail, like Porsche did with the 911. Congrats BMW it looks awesome!

All I see is some tiny blurry pictures in a darker setting. Has potential if we see it close.

its good, not great.

i think the styling would look more sleek as a fastback rather than a notchback.

why doesn't anyone make fastbacks (in this segment)???!!!

Stud, all around its a nice improvement. Being lower and wider than the last coupe should give it an even greater edge over its rivals in the handling department.

Not a fan but at least it looks like a true coupe as opposed to the current 3 series coupe.

looks great. 435i M sport is on the short list for my next car this fall.

It's a studly car Mr. Dudley but BMW is making their models resemble one another far too closely.
This is breeding too much commonality among their product lines and that leads to visual boredom and dullness.
