NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: STUD or DUD — LEAKED! Again! What Do YOU Think Of The FULLY EXPOSED 2014 Cadillac CTS
Well, that was quick. The 2013 New York Auto Show hasn't even started yet and the 2014 Cadillac CTS has been leaked twice!

It appears that it may have been an accident on behalf of USAToday who posted up images and info regarding the all-new Cadillac. Problem is now we can't access that story; however, we did grab the snaps.

Now we finally have a pretty damn good idea of how the CTS will reveal now that it's completely naked.

What say you?

Is the all-new 2014 Cadillac CTS a STUD or a DUD?

Exterior I'll have to wait to see in the flesh.

Interior is a mixed bag from what I can tell. Same leathers/plastics, nohing special. I do like the center stack design though.

Stud exterior and interior. The improvement in and out is much better and is also recognizable the influence of the 5 series E60 in some angles. Te extension of the headlight on the superior part of the fender. The center console is a E60 center console design clue too but in general the car looks more better that the previous generation and better quality.

Agree, I also see a little pre-refresh E class in the first 3/4 view pic. Overall it looks very good! I hope the LEDs are optional or at least can be turned off during the day... Not a big fan of day time LEDs.

Stud!!!
Is it me or is the gauge cluster looking like a TFT screen? Much better than what's in the ATS.

Actual sight might change my perception but for now the front LED lights seem excessive. Also, the fuel filler cap apparently has been moved to the passenger side. That seems strange for a vehicle aimed largely at North America: most drivers fill the tank of their own cars, and it would seem easier to have it on the driver's side.
Interior impresses but material quality and fit/finish will be the deciding factor.

From what I can see its interior isnt anything diff from the norm.

Pass. Squint and you see first gen m45 and a little e-class, two sedans that are hardly lookers. This is just as bad as those and totally overdone. And that interior is another example of trying WAY too hard; probably 15-16 different textures like the ats.

Good try though goverment motors; should please the cheap, tasteless 'buy american' group.

Why would you squint? I do see some of the similarities but you can say that for almost any sedan if you squint hard enough.

As for the interior, I sat in the ATS over the weekend and while it is too small for what I need, it was as nice as any audi or bmw at the show. There were different textures but it's far from being overdone. I still think the mercedes interior is better but that is probably never going to change.

Regardless, if the power train is spot on and fit and finish are top notch, this could be a serious contender in the segment dominated by European brands. Competition is a good thing no matter what brand you are a fan of. As for taste, it's subjective. I consider tattoos tasteless but like I said... It's subjective. Everyone is entitled to their opinion whether it's right or wrong.

The exterior is great. Much better than that refreshed 5 series. It is aggressive looking. The headlights are definitely good looking.

Was just checking out the preliminary specs on cadillac's website. Disappointed that the Twin Turbo 6 will not be offered at this time with AWD. Boooooo.

I like the design although it looks like the CTS has grown in size and will be doing limo service instead of sport, which I suppose is the ATS' job now.

As nice as it is, wouldn't touch it because of those dumb ass Obama voting UAW morons.
