NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: And YOU Thought The A3 Was Something — Get A Load Of The 2015 Audi S3 Sedan
Last night we were happy to share with you the BEST quality photographs from the 2013 New York Auto Show's reveal of the 2015 Audi A3. But, you had to know something a little more special was on its way from Audi — and us.

That's why we've brought in the 2015 S3. That one letter makes quite the difference.

And as we specified with the A3, it is a particularly well equipped entry-level premium sedan. And with the S3 it really takes everything that a proper S-line vehicle has and slams it into the A3. That includes the different front/rear valence, wheels/tires, flat-bottomed steering wheel, sport seats with the diamond-pattern stitching.

While Audi will not release how much power it will have, we do know it come by way of a 2.0 TFSI motor. If I were to put an estimate on it, I'd say upwards of 265 hp but no more than 300. I know it's a bit of a gap but it has to be more than the Volkswagen Golf R but less than the S4.

**Check out some of Agent 001's BEST shots from the debut of Audi's all-new, entry-level premium sedan...

Looks great! I think it falls into that same category regarding one of the agent's comments yesterday regarding Cadillac's styling. Same look, different size. My only knock with these little sedans... why not just buy a coupe? The back seat is hard to get into with 4 doors anyway (see pic of guy trying to take a picture above). Just doesn't make any sense and if you aren't going to be hauling passengers frequently, do you really need 4 doors? Have never understood the appeal of no back seat with 4 doors.

Agreed with the size remark.

Doesn't look like it's exactly easy access to me...

Will let you know when I get in it today...

The Audi S3 sedan looks terrific. The design is very aggressive and sleek on the outside while the interior continues Audi's tradition of combining clean design with high-quality materials.

not digging it. can't get over the toy-ish look of it and that center stack looks like it should be on a Kia.

Interesting car...and comparison with the 1 series. I personally prefer 4 doors (weird I know) so this is appealing.

Have to agree with others. This car is too closely related in design (not sure about engineering) to the Jetta. Saw a Jetta today and from the taillights, the rear glass, the shape of the greenhouse, and size, it's very close.
