NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: PICTURES — BMW Lets 00R Behind The Wheel Of Its Prototype 3-Cylinder And NEW 328d

Leading up to the 2013 New York Auto Show, we heard that BMW would not be unveiling the incredibly popular X5 sport-utility vehicle replacement. Instead the plans were to lay low and debut a four-banger diesel in form of the 328d.

While that car was impressive in its own respect, the real story was the three-cylinder prototype I had the chance to briefly pilot.

But before I conduct a write up of my experience, I first wanted to share with you the images I snapped at BMW's North American headquarters yesterday.
