Hyundai's Large SUV to be called "VeraCruz"

Hyundai's Large SUV to be called
Hyundai confirms that it's large SUV will be called VeraCruz and will have three rows of seating, optional AWD, hold more cargo than a Benz GL, and be larger than a Pilot after the NHTSA accidently spilled the name on its website.

According to the NHTSA, it wil have standard curtain airbags, ABS, ESP, Trac control and tire pressure monitoring.

It was orignally thought the name would be"Mesa" or "Taos". VeraCruz will be built on a expanded Santa Fe base.

My guess starting MSRP would be around $24,000; well below the Pilot's $27,095, or Explorer's $27,175.

Its their first offering in this segment. And I bet it will be better than all the Ford & GM competition.
