SPIED: Porsche's All-New Turbo Caught Again — This Time Its Nearly Nude

Though all indications are pointing to a debut at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, it seems that Porsche has decided to have a little coming out party in April. While we've watched the 991 Turbo undergoing developmental testing for at least 12 or so months now, it has mostly been covered up.

Now though we're seeing it pretty exposed for the first time. The black paint is gone as is the camo.

The only elements left covered up are the LEDs above the front intakes and some other minor details.

From what we see, it is differentiated as all previous Turbos were. It has a wider stance, a large air intake in front of the rear fenders and that glorious "whale tail."


This is is the all-new Porsche 911 Turbo. The flagship model isn’t set to make its global debut until the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, but our spies have snapped the new 991-model 911 Turbo almost completely undisguised.

As always, the 911 Turbo doesn’t shout about the high-performance turbocharged 3.8-litre flat-six that sits behind its rear wheels.

With the GTR losing the big price advantage costing over 6 figures, this one better kick the GTR's ass and by a big margin such as the top end where the short geared GTR gets raped by some sportsedans. 0-60 matching the Veyron's time and a 200+mph top speed with a 20+mpg EPA should make this Porsche KING again.
