Mercedes-Benz Confirms CLA Shooting Brake

Gordon Wagener, Mercedes-Benz Design Chief confirmed to Whatcar that the Mercedes A-Class family will grow beyond the new CLA four door coupe and the newly unveiled GLA SUV. According to Wagener, Mercedes is planning an estate version of the CLA saloon, creating a smaller version of the CLS Shooting Brake. ‘The CLA is a four-door coupe as well, so why not do it?” he said.

Rumors of a sportier A-Class model, such as a small coupe or soft-top were debunked by Wagener as well, “We don’t need a sports car, the market is declining.”

Oh FFS is everything going to be a "4 door coupe" and a "shooting brake" now? That's not a shooting brake, it's a station wagon. If it were a two-door and significantly more sleek, then maybe. But that's no FF.
