AWESOME or AWFUL: So, A Ferrari OR A Watch? How About A Ferrari-Inspired Watch...
Watches and cars go together like peanut butter and jelly. Automotive enthusiasts typically love gadgets and there's nothing quite like a fine timepiece. The intricacies and movements are simply stunning.

And as we've seen it's pretty clear that automakers get that. There's partnerships left and right. And, there's been quite a movement in car-inspired watches.

The latest Hublot making a splash at BaselWorld proves that quite easily. Inspired by the LaFerrari, the new MP-05 LaFerrari looks like it landed from another planet when compared with other watches.

A couple of interesting bits about the MP-05 LaFerrari by Hublot:

- It is wound by a drill — No, I am not kidding.
- It features a tourbillon and has a 50-day power reserve.
- It costs $300,000 USD.

I don't know about you guys but I'd rather just go get an actual Ferrari and call it a day.

Hands-on look at the 2013 limited edition Ferrari and Hublot designed Hublot Masterpiece MP-05 LaFerrari watch with a tourbillon and 50 days of power reserve.

Just like anything else wearable with an auto manufacturer's logo, it is lame if you own the car and have it (I am showing off that I have a Ferrari) and lame if you don't have the car and have it (I am too poor to own it, but I want to pretend I do).

Well, with a price of $300k I am sure the person who gets it will likely own one and even if they don't I am sure it wouldn't matter...
