RENDERED SPECULATION: Is Mazda Up To Some Good With New Vehicle In Its Pipeline?
One automaker I've been pulling for is Mazda. Ever since it was shed from Ford not so long ago, it seems that it has been on the right path, for the most part.

Sure it's brand equity isn't quite up there with the likes of Toyota or Honda but I will say that it makes a pretty damn good product. As I like to say in every Mazda story, I wouldn't say so if I didn't believe in that. My significant other has owned a Mazda3 for about two years now without any issues whatsoever.

With the CX-5 doing better than expected business for Mazda and the all-new, attractive Mazda6, I'd say its doing a pretty good job at keep buyers interested. But, what's next?

The marque needs a string of great vehicles to keep its momentum going and to get it back in the black. Our friends at Auto Motor und Sport may be onto something with some recent artist renderings of what may be on the way.

The new grille/front fascia looks great. Though I hate to see the same corporate face on every vehicle, this new Mazda design style works.

P.s.

Mazda, do the Miata right and throw something with > 225 hp on tap. You know Toyota is bringing the FR-S Convertible to market and Nissan probably has about ten 240SX/Silvia concept vehicles locked away somewhere.

Reminds me of the Dodge Dart. Looking good.
