REVIEW: Porsche Cayman-Driver's car extraordinaire?

Wait, wait. Did we tell you this was a Porsche Cayman S, the new entry-level Porsche coupe? The one that will do 171 mph on the test track (read: any lonely road -- U.S. 50 across Nevada comes to mind -- that is devoid of cops and traffic); the one that will do 0-to-60 in about five seconds. The one -- and this is the kernel of it all -- that will stay glued to the road when all about it are frantically losing their heads and breaking the natural laws of tire-to-tar adhesion.

if porsche made a turbo version of this car w/ 400+ horspower, they would domintate. I just don't get why they are so concerned about overlapping with the aging 911. Designs are getting newer and better.

Did it ever occur to you that there is a Power / Torque limit for every Chasis Setup?
Porsche will never exceed that limit just to satisfy some Power Hungry people who know nothing about handling.
Also i think the Porsche philosophy to Vehicle dynamics is the "Perfect Blend Of Power & Handling" which is good enough for the Porsche buyers.
For those that just want loads of power under the trunk there are the Corvetts & Vipers (Z06 Excluded)
