2014 BMW M5 Facelift Leaked!

2014 BMW M5 Facelift Leaked!
The 2014 BMW M5 has hit the web a little early thanks to an employee who accidently uploaded the car'sconfigurator ahead of schedule.

Looking instantly recognizable, the updated model has a new grille with larger vertical slats that echo those on the M6. There doesn't appear to be any other major changes but the headlights could recieve some minor tweaks.

Interior changes are also limited but we can see a slimmer steering wheel and a new touch-sensitive iDrive controller.

The car's twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine is expected to carryover and continue to produce 560 HP (412 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. However, previous reports have indicated there will be an optional Competition Package that will boost the output to approximately 575 HP (423 kW). The package is also expected to include a sportier suspension, a revised M Dynamic Mode and exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels.

The 2014 BMW M5 is slated to go on sale later this year and German pricing will reportedly start at €103,300.

Looks better to me but still I prefer the front of the old E63 and also the New one.

I think the E-class looks a lot better. This just doesn't give off an aggressive look. I wish BMW would go in that direction, but I see the logic in doing what is working for them.

Like Firewombat says, almost every BMW sedan looks the same.

The facelifted 5 Series remains inferior in looks to the Audi A6, Jaguar XF and possibly new Mercedes E Class. Even the Volvo S80 and Lexus GS are arguably better looking than the 5 Series.

clearly subjective. BMW never tries to be radical about their styling. Thats why people like the look of the vehicle for so long and so many other brands look dated.
Why do you always hear, "I love the look for the E39, or E36"? Because they are timeless.

Is the A6 the one the looks like the A4 or A8? Wait doesn't the A8 look like the the A6, or the A8. Every Audi sedan (except A7) is the same design different shape and all dated.

2ndbimmer: Love is blind when a bimmer fan says "I love the look of the BMW E39 for so long, other brands look dated".

scenicbyway12: If you think these three cars look more the same than the BMW 7 Series, 5 Series and 3 Series, you should run to the nearest optometrist:
