However, according to a new survey, women are reclaiming the streets as a new breed of female petrol-head emerges. New research by MINT Loans suggests that across the country women are becoming more in tune with the British love of motoring. Fifteen per cent of women indulge their curiosity by watching the Grand Prix while 31% are hankering to take part in a track day.

vauxhall has the tigra, peugeot the 206 cc and 307 cc, aston was hugely boosted by desperate housewives (gabrielle solis has a db9 volante), mercedes the clk and slk.
bmw tops the list though, probs due to all those women in 318 convertibles.

there are a fair few "luxury" touches in euro fords. interior styling is very good.
but big cheap cars don't sell ie a ford 500 or crown vic would never sell here.
people here realise there isn't much advantage to having one.

I can see BMW and Mercedes as fashion accessories for some women, but AUDI? That is just a wannabe pseudo prestige brand for desperate wannabes who cannot afford the real thing.
