Next, do-it-yourself refine your own gasoline and mix your preferred octane (i.e. racing 110+). The gas station would just dispense sweet crude and it would be entirely up to the driver to figure out how to use it ;)

And of course there would be a "bright side" to this. The remaining tar can be used to patch up your own driveway ;)
