the 335xi Sedan comes out early/mid 2007, and the 335xi Coupe will come out fourth quarter of 2007. Not sure if or when an AWD 335xi Convertible might follow but my guess then is either at the same time or a few months later.

Please BMW.de - preserve some trunk space in the new 3er with folding metal top.

I'd love to get a new 335CiC but it needs to have some usable trunk space when the top is down for two beach chairs and my beach bag.

I have 3 cars and only really use my M3 cab in the summer to goto the EastHampton beach with my spouse and son in the back. Having trunk room in the winter when the top is up is useless to me.

The lack of trunk space is a big negative to these retractable hardtops. I imagine it is for most buyers as for most, this will be a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th car.

I don't want to have to get a CLK550 cab (which has great trunk space for a convertible. :-(

Please BMW - ensure it has some trunk space.

My Saab 9-3 cab has respectable trunk space. But of course it's not a BMW or Mercedes. Fairly good in the winter, too.

Why are you all discussing a Coupe Cabrio 3-Series ?
Last I heard the 3-Series Cabrio is going to have a Soft-Top not a Hard-Top.
But please correct me if i am Misinformed.
(Need to know as i have a deposit on one and the salesmen all said soft-top)

logical, if this wasn't a bmw you'd be saying the metal roof ruins the handling and adds loads of weight, rather like how you say a certain 4x4 system does.
this will be one of the least sport bmws in the whole lineup.

AWD hardtop conv will be awesome
I wish my TT roadster has hard top when I was driving in the last snow storm , boy it was fun
