B&B tunes a Stellar 300hp GTI

In top form — the so-called Evo R stage — the modified Polo GTI makes an astonishing 300 hp and 302 pound-feet of torque. The Evo R engine gets new pistons, connecting rods and cylinder head and a larger turbocharger, as well as modifications to the intercooler and injection system. A new exhaust system with lower backpressure and a high-performance racing catalyst are also installed, as is a new oil cooler.

The results are impressive: 0-60-mph acceleration in less than 5.8 seconds.

That is quite intense. Also, 0-60 would be around 5 second flat, and probably even quicker than that.

that's a small car with a ton of power - i'm surpised that its 0-60 time is so high.
