New Chrysler Sebring convertible hardtop
Chrysler's forthcoming Sebring saloon is to join the convertible fold - with a new coupé-cabrio version.

It's part of a range of changes from DaimlerChrysler, which also sees a butch Dodge arrive in the same sector within 12 months. And both of the US models will use Volkswagen's acclaimed 136bhp 2.0-litre TDI diesel in their line-ups.

It has been said that it will have both a hardtop and a softop. I hope the Dodge looks more interesting.

They seem to have adopted the Pontiac "more is more" style of lines and accenting. Too busy. Change the grille and it would appear to be a new Saab, or is it just me?

Also, ever notice how many cars are using that Bangle crease sculpting along the top of the doors lately?
