More spy photos of the supposed S-Class convertible

We're all wondering if this rumor could really be true that Mercedes is working on an S-Class convertible that will hit this January in Detroit.

Seems to us it should be a CL-Class convertible...

I don't think a four door convertible has ever worked. It would be hard to make one on a car about 200 ionches long. That is why Bentley is making thier convertible on the two door version.

It looks nice but I don't know if there will be a big market for it. If MB decides to stop producing it in say 2 or three years due to slow sales, collectors would scramble to get their hands on one before production ceases.

There's no such thing as a four door coupe. The definition of coupe is a closed, TWO DOOR vehicle.
