They're a busy bunch at BMW. No sooner have they told us all about the next X5 than they're spilling the beans on new engines for the 3-Series range.

Diesels will have a hard time coming over here, at least for all 50 states, 45 state diesels might come sooner.

Some diesels don't meet emission standards. Others that do don't make the biggest market (California).

Ok, I admire any good car, BUT guys look at the specs of these engines, the numbering, don't you see they're trying to compete with the IS350? Now who's following who's foot steps? lol
But you know what, this is what I love about this industry, continous perfection. I wish and pray that one day I wake up and see the American car companies do the same. :-(

these engines are DIESELS, bar one.

And you are just assuming they are trying to compete with the IS350.
