LEAKED?! Is This The REAL Deal? The 2014 Toyota Corolla Slips Out Early?

It appears that the 2014 Toyota Corolla **may** have slipped out early before its big debut.

This is an important vehicle to Toyota as it is one of the brand's volume players. And though we were expecting a more radical design — remember the concept back in Detroit (?) —IF this is the real car it shaked out pretty well.

This image, which could be a render, is not a complete bore but it's not so radical it will alienate previous buyers or consumers in this category. The Corolla was never meant to, or ever will, compete with the likes of sportier offerings like the Volkswagen Jetta GLI. Think more along the lines of the Hyundai Elantra and Honda Civic.

So, assuming this is it, how'd they do?

Good looking nose. I still think the name sounds like something you find in your grandmothers purse but it's good to see these smaller sedans looking better.

If it drives the way it looks Toyota may have something. Borrowing from Honda and VW may be a good thing for Toyota :)
