Jaguar Land Rover Gets It RIGHT, Again

Jaguar Land Rover Gets It RIGHT, Again
I hate to say it, but I told you so.

I've been a pretty big advocate for Jaguar Land Rover in recent months and the latest lineup of vehicles it has delivered it's pretty clear to me that they're the most exciting brand to watch now. And it all started with the new XJ.

According to reports from Europe, Jaguar's global brand director has said "Half of the first year's production of the F-Type is already sold."

Hold on a second while I pick my jaw up off the floor.

This isn't mind blowing since the vehicle will be produced in low volumes; however,  you do have to keep in mind that there aren't too many buyers in this category AND the F-Type starts at nearly $70,000.

AND you have to keep in mind that this is following up on the big-time success of the XJ, Evoque and all-new Range Rover. Next up is the Range Rover Sport and, frankly, you'd have to be daft to pick up anything else BUT that vehicle.

Jaguar has a hit already with the F-Type convertible, the brand's first two-seat sports car in almost four decades.

"Half of the first year's production of the F-Type is already sold," said global brand director Adrian Hallmark. Customers who order the car now will be lucky to get one by the end of this year, he said.

It's not hard to see why! It's absolutely gorgeous in every single way.

At the risk of sounding like a moron does anyone know why the went back to the -type naming, couldn't this have simply been a new xk, the only reason I ask is because I hate the -type it reminds me of a time when jaguar was less appealing, I hate seen those old s's and cringe when I seen those ridiculous x's.
