Amazing Run: 30 Millionth Golf Rolls Off The Assembly Line

Today, June 14th, VW celebrated the 30 millionth Golf rolling off the assembly line at the Wolfsburg plant.

The 30 millionth Golf is a Mk7 TDI Bluemotion model and will be displayed at the Wolfsburg ‘open house day’ this Saturday. The automaker started manufacturing the Golf in 1974 and for the past 39 years an average of over 2,000 customers have bought a new Golf every day. The Golf TDI BlueMotion, whih was recently introduced, is the most fuel efficient Golf with a fuel consumption value of only 3.2 l/100km.

I read the headline as: "30 millionth Golf Ball Rolls Off The Assembly Line" and thought so what? Then I read it correctly and thought exactly the same.
