VIDEO: FIRST Clip Of Mercedes-Benz's A45 AMG On The Track Getting PUSHED To Its Limits
I have to say it's appearing like our friends from the UK are really putting out some strong content these days.

One vehicle I've been dying to see get wrung out is the all-new Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG. Not only because it is making more than 350 horsepower from a forced induction four-cylinder, but also because it has all-wheel drive and a dual-clutch 'box. The recipe is sounding quite tasty.

But there's no point having someone take it around a track or on the road at a leisurely pace. You need the vehicle to be pushed at its greatest limits. And, the right man for the job is Steve Sutcliffe who has had a proper racing background.

Tune in below to hear his informative commentary on the A45 AMG.

Though we're not likely to get the A45 stateside, the CLA45 AMG will be more than happy to fill in. ;)

178bhp per litre bodes well, but can the Mercedes A45 AMG, powered by a four-cylinder engine, deliver the sort of thrills traditionally associated with the marque?  Steve Sutcliffe drives it as hard as he can to find out...

Europe, Asia and Latin America seem to really like hatchbacks and their variants a lot more than the US. I can see why MB, BMW and Audi have been developing all sorts of hatchback cars over the last decade. Not sure how will the US appreciate these current/upcoming hatchbacks. It seems like we Americans are accepting them more and more but not sure whether that is due to economic hardship over the last 5 years or is it from actual change in our taste. Personally, I prefer these over the muscle cars but that's just me (still remember my 89 Honda Civic Si hatchback).
