Ford Motor Co. Chief Executive Officer Alan Mulally called Japan a currency manipulator that’s giving local exporters an unfair edge as the weaker yen threatens to undermine U.S. automakers’ profits.

Cry baby. While some of this maybe true, American manufacturers' CEO's and management make ten times what Asian companies pay. They avoid reinvestment in efficiency and new technology as much as they can in order to just line their pockets. The only reason our new American cars are as good as they are(and they are very good)is because of the foreign competition. Mulully should wipe his vagina and get back to work.

Japan Inc may be a manipulator but I love how stupid-ass Americans always give the Koreans a freebie because they're willing to give us all the crap we want at 150% off.

Ford and American car companies in general REALLY need to cut their salaries and pensions down to a much more REASONABLE level and pass those savings on to the consumers. THEN they'll sell their products. Add to that a more quality product and you've got the key to a more sucessful American auto industry.
