SPIED: NEW Spy Shots Of The Slightly REFRESHED 2014 Audi A8

It's that time, again. It's time for the Audi A8 to get in line with the rest of Audi AG's product styling. Though it's not ready for a complete re-do and taking it back to the drawing board, the luxury automaker does have to freshen it up a bit to make sure it isn't out of date.

Though there is no indication if this will be the 2014 or 2015 model, we can tell it must be relatively close to production. The vehicle's draped in camouflage but it's readily apparent that the parts are finished and Audi is likely just doing some developmental testing.

Note the changes to the front valence, headlights and taillights. It's clear Audi is switching the LED tube lighting instead of the older LED set up.

No word on when to expect the refreshed model to hit showrooms.

German car mag Autobild's rendering of the facelifted Audi A8. "In addition to modified front and rear ends of the car, Audi's main focus will be on the interior: more luxury, more comfort. The technical capabilities and the infotainment system be brought up to date. In addition, the packages will be significantly expanded."
