RENDERED SPECULATION: Is THIS The Best All-New Look For One Of The World's BEST Looking Cars?
There's just something so special about the Audi R8.

When it first came onto the scene it captivated people and even now as the 2014 model ushers in some light refreshing to the front and rear valence, plus the interior. You can't really modify something that was done so right the first time around.

And that's what we like about the R8. Rather than have the gaudy looks of, say, a Ferrari or Lamborghini, that will likely get negative attention, there seems to be a certain amount of respect when you pull up in an R8. I guess people really dig Tony Stark?

Anyway. The real news here is that word on the street is suggesting that we will see an all-new R8 come 2015. So, what's that mean...exactly? How does Audi create an all-new vehicle that will be:

1) Better looking than the outgoing product
2) Continue to keep the brand's momentum going as the "it" car

Well, our friends across the sea decided to get creative and show you how it could look...

An all new
Audi R8 is due in 2015 and our exclusive images show how the car could look.

Replacing the R8 is a tricky task, given how talented the current car is, but Audi hopes to elevate it above the competition with more power, less weight and a jaw-dropping new design...

No, it's not the best look but the underpinnings sound pretty darn nice. The current R8 is in desperate need of Weight Watchers and it sounds like Audi is working on that. Even so, still the best car I have ever owned and Agent OOR is correct, the number of "thumbs-up" I get on the road shows that people apparently like the R8 (or maybe they like Iron Man).

Agree that the current R8 is ONE of the best looking cars, and the illustration above takes it to the next level.

Evo car magazine comparison test of Audi R8 V10 Plus, Ferrari 458 Italia and McLaren MP4-12C (see clip). Evo found that, apart from the ferocity of engine, the Audi was as good and in some ways better as a supercar than the much more expensive Ferrari and McLaren. At the end of the test, the author chose to drive home in the Audi because he also found the R8 more user friendly for the drive home. The full report is only available in the June 2013 hard copy of the magazine.

I would LOVE to own one of this baby because I think it's one of the MOST Beautiful Super Sports Car out there. It look very exotic and classy at the same time and I think it ages really well like the original Infiniti G35 coupe. And I think it's going to be really hard for Audi to create a more beautiful car than the current Audi R8. I guess only time will tell.

I like the headlights on this Audi R8 rendering a lot and it also remind me of the 2013 Toyota Mark X Sports Sedan that is sold in the Japanese market. Look similar both very mean looking headlights.

If you can't dig up $160K, there are cheaper alternatives...
