RENDERED SPECULATION: The BEST Artist RENDERING Of The Upcoming 4-Series Gran Coupe
OK, so we now have the BMW 3-Series and the BMW 4-Series. A sedan and a coupe. Seems like all the bases are covered, right?

There's the sport-utility vehicles, the wagons, the unfortunate Gran Turismos even.

Well, one thing's missing.

That would be an entry-level four-door coupe. And since the 6-Series has one — and we've seen the 4-Series Gran Coupe testing — it's clear it will won't be alone for that much longer. But how would a 4-Series Gran Coupe look?

Well, that's what one artist set to find out.

The first 4 Series model has been revealed in the form of the 4 Series Coupe and it will eventually be joined by the Convertible and a 4 Series Gran Coupe (F36) variant.

The Coupe begins production this July, while the Convertible begins later this year in November. The 4 Series Gran Coupe will debut next year, with production possibly by late 2014 - early 2015.

With the reveal of the 4 Series Coupe, some digital artists have taken to photoshop for some new Gran Coupe renders. Holy sh*tballs. If the renderings come true, then this is definitely a winner. The side profile view is simply stunning (the side view of the rendering of the dark blue car). The proportions are spot-on perfect. Where the rear half of the coupe looks completely bland, this car looks sharp from front to rear.

Notice the blue one doesn't have that terrible side vent. If only that was true.

Once again, the idea of even numbers is for coupes right ? then stick to two doors and just make the 4 doors look better ! why the hell do they have to have so many variations of 4 doors. Get it right once for a 3, 5 and 7 series and leave the coupes alone ! They are marginalizing the 3 and 5 series.
