The 2013 24 Hour Of Le Mans Ends And Audi Claims ANOTHER Victory
Wrapping up about 9:00 am ET in the US, the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans has ended. It was a stunning race as the talent was, of course, the creme de la creme.

The 2013 race didn't feature the most ideal conditions — rain — but it still was as exciting as ever.

Unfortunately the race suffered the loss of Allan Simonsen, piloting the number 95 Aston Martin.

But the race forged on and ended with Audi taking the top spot, again. Though it was closely trailed by one of the Toyota hybrids that was one lap down.

Audi's winning team, who piloted an R18 etron Quattro, featured Tom Kristensen, Allan McNish and Loic Duval.

This two-minute video voiced by Sam Posey covers the complete 24 hour race the highs and lows. Worth watching!

Brilliant!! When your LMP1 budget is double your nearest rival(100M vs 50M)ANYTHING is possible! So incredible. Just proves the time honored tradition that with enough money and a little luck you can buy anything or at least buy enough of a technical edge to win one of the biggest marketing events in the auto kingdom..And for an encore, next year VW will race two of its own companies against each other...who will win VW, VW, or Toyota?
