The all-new Porsche 911 (991) GT3 is something that dreams are made of. Essentially a Carrera S that's been put on a diet and fed a special cocktail of all things racing and the track, it's a testament to Porsche's DNA.
Rear-wheel drive and focused on the driver. That's what the marque's about.
Sure there was a lot of hubbub when Porsche informed everyone that the all-new car would only be had with PDK — double-clutch transmission —but that seems to have subsided once everyone realized how much quick it was off the line.
3.5 seconds to 60 is a significant difference from the last-gen GT3.
To truly appreciate why the GT3 is such an awesome product it seems that a publication abroad took several GT3's out for some wheelin' and dealin'. Hence this hill climb video.
