RENDERED SPECULATION: Audi's Next-Gen Q5 Gets A Little More Panache
While the Audi Q5 has been a pretty important product for the four rings, I would wager that many would argue it just lacks something special. Then again one could make that argument for just about any product.

In order to tackle that problem head on, it's been rumored that Audi will be doing a revamp of its entire portfolio. We don't expect it to be a "Bangle" move; however, something tells us that its products will get a more aggressive flair to them that will certainly have the naysayers zipping their mouths shut.

If Audi bungles it and "Bangles" its cars, well, at least we know we'll be entertained for years to come.

The treatment that appeared in several concept cars and has been getting some artist love is this new, masculine grille. With harsher angles and a prominent "face" it certainly leaves an impression.

That said, what say YOU? Would you want to park this Audi Q5 in your driveway?

Audi can only dream of 'bangle-ing' their cars. The bangle era BMWs sold more than any previous generation and are arguably the most interesting BMWs ever.

A completely agree with you , for me Bangle was great and move the car design out of the normal things with lines people can't predict , as always and common in our human nature was follow with tons of critics but later and now others manufactures don't hesitate to copy. This is great.

Disagree, BMW hasn't even sniffed anything remotely as attractive as the R8, and their best (the 8-series) was discontinued.

Looks like the Audi designers rediscovered they can design using a straight edge. Bye bye organic shapes and hello to boring geometry at Audi.

Well, here are the speculated renderings of future Audis from Autozeitung car mag. None of the car mags seem to have seen the actual products, so none of these renderings are from Audi designers. Their renderings are probably based on a verbal description of the design concept and maybe seen some parts of the new design approach (e.g., grille).
