SPIED: FIRST Shots Of Porsche's 911 (991) GT2 Snapped On The 'Ring

Looking like a Porsche 911 (991) GT3, reports are surfacing from Germany's world famous Nurburgring that the all-new Porsche 911 GT2 is out and about.

Though we cannot confirm this is actually a GT2, it certainly would make sense that the GT2 has started development. The GT3 has had its coming out party and will be arriving shortly; however, you have to keep in mind that automakers DO keep testing post vehicle launch for durability. Also, automakers are known to disguise cars with different body styles in the initial phases of testing.

So, it's a toss up.

Some giveaways that it could be the GT2 are as follows:

- Side vent in front of the rear axle
- Looks like it is wearing a set of carbon ceramic brakes

GT2 is to GT3 kind of like what the Turbo is to the regular Carrera but in RWD form - It's like a RWD turbo with the boost turned up. IMO the GT3 is a purer track car
